There
are two centres in these neighbour- hoods linked by a huge Boulevard the
Terez, Erzsebet & Jozef. The Nyugati train station recons it's the
centre of town & the station (designed by the Eiffel brothers) could
not receive nor generate a higher pulse than it is now. Its nicely laid
out in manageable blocks for good navigation and rapid 24-hour recollection.
The area is somewhat civilised by the introduction
of the massive Andrassy Avenue .......

District V welcomes
you to enjoy the best of sight seeing and all the most lethal tourist
traps. Walking or riding the tram 1, the parliament buildings, financial
nerve centres, and fat politician types all around. The perfect river
promenade for panoramas of the castle and all along the Buda hills
may be experienced from the comfort of the flat. The rather busy but
magnificent meeting point of Buda and Pest at this end of the chain
bridge. The one and only Vaci shopping and loosing all your cash etc
street, the boulevard of romance my arse. The undergrounds all meet
under the Deak Ferenc square. And that's probably why! The
area seems to be always under construction or at least wish it was.
