Szechenyi Baths

The ultimate baths experience. 3 outdoor pools and many more indoors with different temperature thermal water. Chess boards in the hot pool. Sauna with ice inside. Bar. Restaurant. Massage. What even not too many locals know: nudist sunbathing terrace on the roof, separate for men and women. They give you lockers with the ticket, or you can rent a cabin, if you like.

Lukacs baths

The healing powers of this thermal spring has been used since the 12th century, when the knights of the order of Saint John already built the first baths on this spot. It has been modernised slightly (OK. Totally. In 1884, and again in 1937. And a little more in 1979). Swim in thermal water, rent a swimming cap, (you will look silly but you'll need one to go into the water) sunbathe on the roof amongst the tree-tops. Wonderful. Entry with lockers: 2600 HUF (€9)

Palatinus Lido

A huge outdoors summer lido, with different temperature pools, lot of grass, trees and flowers, a nice and steep water slide and all kinds of restaurants and bars you might need to make your day fully satisfying. weekday ticket 2200HUF (€5.7), weekend ticket 2500 HUF (€6.5) afternoon ticket from 4pm 1250 HUF (€4.5)

Margitsziget

daily from 7am-7pm

tram 4 or 6 to 'Jaszai Mari ter' or 'Margit hid', you'll enter Margaret island from the South, walk on the left side of it for about 15 minutes. You'll pass the National Swimming pool first, keep going for about an other 10 minutes.

Kiraly baths

Gay friendly Turkish baths. Some parts of the building are from 1565!! Indoors only. Open for Ladies on Mon, Wed: 8am - 8pm. For gentlemen: Tue,Thu,Fri,Sat: 8am - 8pm. For ladies AND gentlemen: Sunday: 8am - 8pm. Tickets with a cabin for 2200 HUF (€7.6)

Gellert Baths

The fanciest baths of all. Stunning architecture. Indoors and outdoors as well. Massage, mud treatment, private pools, carbonated baths,wave pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and everything you want. Weekday tickets 3600 HUF (€12.5), weekend tickets 4050 HUF (€14)

Rudas Baths

Fairytale Turkish Baths for rainy days (indoors pools only).....and nights!!! It is open for night bathing on Fridays and Saturday from 10 till dawn, for both guys AND girls in swimming outfits, otherwise separate days for women OR men for nudist hanging out.

Daily 6am - 8pm. Tuesday women only. Sat+Sun women and men. Other days men only.

Bus 7 to 'Dobrentei ter'. You get off right after you crossed the bridge.

Hajos Alfred National Swimming Pool

Swim and dive where the champions train. Or come and watch water polo games. 6 different pools, olympic diving boards. Entry 1700 HUF (€9)
