An old train carriage that has been transformed into a bar with a lovely terrace under chestnut trees. Dogs like to bring their owners here after a walk in the park, so if you are dog-o-phobic, this is probably not the place for you. Otherwise: enjoy.

There IS an elevator, as I found out after arriving to the bar on the 5th floor, red and panting. (it was't the first time either)

This curious little building has been there since the 60's (was designed as an info pavilion by the comrades, the roof forms the compulsory communist red star from above) and hasn't changed much ever since. Except the spirit ...it's super cooooooool. A favourite spot of bike messengers and skate boarders and other chilled-out types. Yummy bean-gulash for 850 HUF (€3) and other simple dishes.... and of course: beer (from 400HUF, €1.4), spritzer, palinka, World Cup...

Godor = 'Pothole' This culture-club itself is under the pool in the park...you can chill in the grass, or you can see the outdoor performances from the steps...more performances and exhibitions inside. Here you'll meet a nice mix of fellow travellers and locals.A tropical feeling garden with a LOT of plants. So much plants you might get lost on the way back trying to find your table......hmmmmm...hidden tables. The rooms of the hostel upstairs are named after the 7 deadly sins, so you by looking up you can conveniently identify which one(s) you are indulging in.

5in1 fun!!! this place definitely has something for everyone. A large middle terrace on the courtyard for drinks and chatting (up), karaoke room, and 3 different Djs on 3 different dancefloors. (1 retro, 1 electro, 1 surprise.) Quite a young crowd, lots of students, but after enough drinks you'll have fun even if you are over 100.
