take the Sziget Boat!!! the ride is just long enough to have pint from the bar on board and you wont have to queue when you get there, as they validate your ticket before you get on.
Boats leave from 'Vigado ter' and 'Jaszai Mari ter' every 20 minutes between 2pm-4am. Tickets 600HUF (€2)
...or you could take suburban train HEV to 'Filatorigat' and follow the crowd.

Oh, what a party!!!! In Szechenyi Baths....magical lighting, projections, dancers, acrobats, synchronized swimmers, fire show.... wonderful music and the stars above you...perfectly beautiful in every possible way.
Do come early, it finishes at 2 in the morning, and you don't want to miss any of it.

Valley of Arts
For experienced travellers only.... this festival takes place in 5 tiny and beautiful villages... art & crafts, concerts, exhibitions, performances, street theatre, workshops, bong fire....whole ox roasting... plus all sorts of improvised events that happen when a lot of creative people meet. You can take Volan bus from 'Nepliget' bus station to 'Kapolcs' (a 3 hour ride, 4 buses/day). Once you are there you'll have to be inventive, you can rent a bike or hitch-hike around the place (it's fun!! everybody does that during the event) and look for accomodation ... or camp.
